Czech and Slovak Film Festival – 4-7 September, Dendy Newtown

Czech and Slovak Film Festival will feature over 40 films including new releases (Burning Bush/Hořící keř, To See the Sea/Pojedeme k moři, Honeymoon/Líbánky etc.) and also some past classics from the 60 ́s such as The Boxer/Boxer a smrť, Closely Watched Trains/ Ostře sledované vlaky, Birds Orphans and Fools/ Vtáčkovia, siroty a blázni and Before Tonight is Over/Kým sa skončí táto noc. The festival will also include some documentaries and shorts. Furthermore, there will be complimentary exhibitions such as Prague Through the Lens of the Secret Police/Praha objektivem tajné policie and events presented to Sydney audiences for the first time.
